Cinnamon Candles

26 Nov

Since the holidays are just around the corner I decided to do a DIY involving something that will make your house smell amazing. Every time I smell vanilla and cinnamon it reminds me of the holidays and being wrapped around in warm blankets sitting around the fireplace ready to open our christmas presents. So why not have this smell linger all month of December.

What you’ll need:

  • different size candles vanilla scented
  • cinnamon sticks ( 1LB)
  • ribbon
  • glue gun
  • glue sticks

The first thing you want to do is place the cinnamon sticks around the candle, just to get an idea of how many you need and the placement of the sticks. you might have to cut the sticks to make them an even size. The next step is to begin gluing the sticks to the candle. Go in order and make sure you work fast since the glue dries quickly.  Once you have covered the candle with sticks you can wrap your ribbon around it and make a pretty bow. This will look rally pretty as a centerpiece or bathroom decorations. Also once you begin to burn the candles you smell a mix of the vanilla and the cinnamon making your place the perfect location for the holidays.
